About Creative Drinks, Brisbane
Creative Drinks is the only event of its kind in Australia that provides members of the creative industry with an opportunity to showcase their work, network with fellow creatives and see up and-coming talent.
Unlike standard networking events, our events are a combination of stage show, exhibition, information and networking. They’re loads of fun, great for making industry contacts, and totally addictive.
Rather than focusing on one topic or speaker, Creative Drinks combines several elements and attractions, in order to capture the interest of all creatives – from graphic designers, art directors and marketers, to photographers, architects, artists and musicians.
Events are held regularly throughout Brisbane at amazing locations.
Our community is all about creating a non-competitive environment where creatives can learn, be inspired, network with like-minded souls, develop their skills and showcase their work
Created for creatives, by creatives, Creative Drinks events are:
- Educational – a highly regarded speaker will present at most events. .
- Entertaining – musician, band or performer will showcase their talent at each event. Other entertainment may include a fashion show, acrobatics, multimedia display, etc.
- Inspiring – you’ll view stunning and inspirational work developed by local artists, photographers, designers and other creatives, in the form of an exhibition.
Who’s Creative Drinks for?
We creatives are an interesting breed in ourselves and pretty diverse in what we do. You could be an art director, photographer, graphic artist, interior designer, musician, actor, marketer, writer, illustrator, producer, printer, and anything in between.
You could also be a company owner, managing director, student, employee or member of an industry association.
So who’s behind all this?
Creative Drinks was founded by three Brisbane professionals – Ratu Lewis of Margin Media, Craig Fossey of MBE Stones Corner and Margot Kooij of Media Call. Together they bring expertise in event management, publicity, design, web/emarketing, branding and business management, in addition to operating in the creative industry themselves.
