A massive thanks to everyone who came along and made our Stones Corner relaunch such a creative cracker. The mix of artwork, presentations, groove riddled beats and a really cool crowd barely gave us time to reach the bar (though we got there in the end).

Big thankyous to the T-bar crew for letting us take things over and keep them on their toes for the night. It was encouraging to hear from Brisbane City Councils representatives Athol and Jeremy; speaking their piece on the Creative City initiatives, while the real life heroic tale of Tim Sharp and Laser Beak Mans rise to silver screen domination (with faithful sidekick BigFish) was nothing short of inspirational. Let’s not forget giving props to Rachel for taking us the behind the scenes in her low down on the very cool fourthousand/Right Angle family.

CD_July2For details on speakers, artwork or any other bits and pieces seen on the night drop us a line at info@creativedrinks.com.au. In the meantime stay tuned for further announcements for our next event in September. We’ll be getting busy scouring Brisbane for some great talent, so keep your ear close to the ground and remember to bring along those business cards (even though we don’t mind you using the back of our coasters!). There’s also a bunch of great photos posted up on our event Facebook site so go check ‘em out. Finally for those concerned, we’re relieved to advise that crowd favourite ‘Stinky Chicken’ has declined to press charges in spite of some very liberal fondling… just quietly we’re pretty sure he liked it.
